The High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), convening under the auspices of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), took place on 11-15 July 2016 in New York. The theme of the 2016 session was Ensuring No One is Left Behind, so that all people in all countries may benefit from sustainable development. and the full realization of human rights, without discrimination on the basis of sex, age, race, color, language, religion, political or other opinion.
